ASB MAGAZINE: Here’s a first glimpse of Wisemans Surf Lodge, located just 60-minutes drive from North Sydney, on the banks of the Hawkesbury River at Wisemans Ferry. According to developers, world-class waves will break under orange cliffs and white gum eucalypts in 2022. Powering the Wisemans wave-pool will be a super charged version of the SurfLoch LLC technology deployed at Palm Springs USA.
The vision is a resort-style solution bringing perfect surf to Sydney all year, but it’s more than just waves in a pool, Wisemans is surrounded by a 9-hole golf course, 54 hotel suites, restaurant, bar, conference facilities and riverfront access making it the perfect domestic escape.
According to STAB, early investors include 4 Pines Brewery co-founder Jaron Mitchell, and Balter co-founder Sean Ronan, as well as Stephanie Gilmore, Josh Kerr, Joel Parkinson, Jack Freestone, Alana Blanchard, and Bede Durbidge.
