ASB MAGAZINE: OTIS eyewear is bringing their Western Australian roots to the big apple this summer as the brand officially launches into NYC at Showfields. Located in the heart of the city at 11 Bond Street, Showfields NYC is the ultimate curator, bringing together mission-driven, design-oriented, innovative brands and artists from around the globe. Each brand featured at Showfields NYC is done by invitation only, to ensure customers are receiving a completely unique composition of brands – which are presented excellently throughout their revolutionary four-story retail space. OTIS will occupy approximately 10’ x 10’ of uniquely branded retail space flush with sunlight on the third floor of the building, where the brand will feature over 60 styles from their latest 2020 collection. OTIS Eyewear is currently distributed globally, but this will be the brands first retail location in New York City; something the brand is taking great pride in. Stephen Gerard, Brand Manager for OTIS Eyewear USA, is excited about bringing OTIS to life in the big city:

OTIS will be showcasing their 2020 collection of eyewear, which features a wide range of polarized and non-polarized sunglasses for men and women. As part of the 2020 collection, OTIS will be spotlighting their biodegradable Eco-Acetate Collection, as well as their collaborative collection with surfer model Imogen Caldwell:

Showfields NYC summer curation will feature brands from all different categories – from skincare to clothing to wearable technology and more. OTIS Eyewear will be the only eyewear brand featured in Showfields NYC and that’s for a reason. Due to current COVID-19 retail restrictions, Showfields NYC will be prioritizing the comfort and security of brands, staff and customers and will be adhering to very strict health and safety guidelines. With restrictions in place, Showfields has developed several new initiatives to bridge the gap between brands and customers, which include virtual tours for a contactless experience, group tours with friends, personal shoppers and more. Customers will also be given the opportunity to book brand demos, where they can learn all about OTIS from the comfort of their home.
