ASB MAGAZINE: Over the past number of years Global Surf Industries (GSI)  has received  numerous calls for locally produced product in many corners of the world. In late 2019, the company started to explore collaborations with manufacturing partners around the world. This program will run along side GSI’s centralised manufacturing operations that are part of its supply global supply chain that services around 73 countries through an existing network of whole owned subsidiaries and international distributors.

The first of these local agreements has been signed with Olivier Gricourt and Delphine Ferran of OGS Surf Glassing in Capbreton, France. OGS Surf Glassing will produce and distribute a range of 7S and Modern surfboards throughout Europe. Olivier has dedicated the last 20 years to surfboards manufacturing in France, Spain and Australia, his experience and savoir faire of shape and glassing pushed him to get an AKU SHAPER machine to cover and offer every step of surfboard manufacturing in his factory. Delphine has worked with leading hardware companies like Surf Hardware International ( FCS ) and Channel Islands.

Olivier and Delphine said they were honoured to collaborate with GSI to distribute 7S and MODERN in Europe.

Global Surf Industries will be announcing more local manufacturing collaborations in the future.
