ASB MAGAZINE: Surf Hardware International announced the appointment of Todd Prestage to the Americas Management Team. Prestage brings a wealth of experience to the role, having worked with Hurley for over 10 years, firstly in Australia in sales management, and more recently over the last 4 1⁄2 years at Hurley USA as Sales Manager for their core accounts. Prior to that, Todd was responsible for managing Hurley’s global wetsuit and footwear business.

Many people know Todd from his time on the ASP/WSL World Championship Tour where he competed for 14 years, and also represented Australia at the ISA games in 1996. Australian born and raised, and now residing in Southern California with his family, Todd made a smooth transition from professional surfer into the business realm, and is well respected within the industry.
The North American market remains a key region for the SHI business globally, and is home to many of the world’s leading surfboard manufacturers, retailers and industry brands.
SHI’s CEO Michael Heath believes Todd will bring a new energy & enthusiasm to the role along with some fresh ideas.
