ASB MAGAZINE: In a major boost to the 8th season of SurfGroms, the program has been given the endorsement of Australian icon, Mick Fanning whose signature Mick Fanning Surf School model will be the official soft board for the upcoming nudie SurfGroms season. SurfGroms is a national development program run by Surfing Australia for 5 – 12yr olds that encourages kids to participate in surfing.
SurfGroms adopts an approach to learning that uses group-based games to not only equip kids with the skills they need to surf and paddle, but also to encourage their participation by having fun. These fundamentals are aligned with the personal ethics of Mick and the entire team at Mick Fanning Softboards.
Mick is truly an inspiration and his association with SurfGroms will inspire the up and coming generation of kids to get involved!

The 2019 Mick Fanning Softboards Surf School Edition has been redesigned from the ground up with input from Mick along with some of the most respected and experienced surfing instructors in Australia.
