ASB MAGAZINE: Next-gen social platform Vero is partnering with World Surf League at this year’s Quiksilver and Roxy Pro France. The collaboration will see Vero create a space within the event’s Fanzone for people to relax, meet other fans and connect over their love of surfing. The Vero Social Loungewill be a dedicated beach side area where Vero users can relax and enjoy the competition right in front of the big screen and enjoy free Wi-Fi. Daily VIP ticket experiences and upgrades will also be up for grabs at the lounge courtesy of Vero.
Built to enable users to interact more authentically online, Vero is also committed to driving positive change in the real world. Turning the tide on plastics, Vero will be collaborating with PURE, the WSL’s sustainability initiative; and headline sponsors Quiksilver & Roxy to deliver a major beach clean where volunteers were invited to join forces with Vero to do their bit to protect our coastlines and oceans.
For fans following the competition globally, Vero will partner with Quiksilver to bring them closer to the action with the Vero Future Filmsseries. Each day Vero followed the stories of Quiksilver Young Guns Jackson Bunch and Noa Dupouy, two up-and-coming surfers, from their journey to the event through to their sunset on the final day of competition.
