ASB MAGAZINE:  The surfing world  is  saddened by the news that the legendary surf photographer Marty Tullemans has passed away. Marty was one of the most unique and creative character’s in the surfing fraternity. He was kind hearted, passionate about surfing and a deeply spiritual man. Martin leaves behind a body of iconic work that is sure to include at least one of everyone’s favourite all time surfing images, spanning so many surfing era’s.

Marty is a favorite son of the team at Tracks magazine. Tracks editor Luke Kennedy wrote

“Marty had been in a long battle with dementia, and due to his failing health had been placed in a home earlier this year. Dementia is a horrible disease, as anyone who has watched a loved one succumb to it can attest, and we can only hope Marty is now at peace.”

There will be an ocean memorial in Marty’s honour to be held on December 27th beginning with a gathering outside of the Coolangatta Surf Life Saving Club at 7am

All are welcome.
