ASB MAGAZINE: SurfAid announced the return of the SurfAid Cup to the beautiful Queenscliff Beach on Friday November 6th, 2020. Started in Manly in 2011, the SurfAid Cup is now a global event series that has raised over $4 million for SurfAid’s life changing programs.  Proudly presented by long time SurfAid supporter Beecraft and Surfing NSW – the Beecraft SurfAid Cup Manly 2020 is a one day tag team style surf competition that pairs fundraising teams with pro surfers for a fun day of fundraising and surfing to support the health, wellbeing and resilience of remote communities connected to us through surfing.


This year’s stacked lineup of pro’s includes 2 x world champion Adrian “Ace” Buchan, Matt ‘Wilko’ Wilkinson, Tom Carroll and Connor O’Leary, Global SurfAid Ambassadors Kobi Clements, Cooper Chapman and 2019 Manly Pro Champ Jordy Lawler, plus many more!

The Beecraft SurfAid Cup Manly 2020 kicks off at 7.30am with the Official SurfAid Cup After Party to be held at The Hotel Steyne from 5:00pm. 


Last year the SurfAid Cup Manly saw 20 teams raise an impressive $180,000 for SurfAid’s Mother & Child Health Programs.

About SurfAid

SurfAid is a humanitarian organisation whose aim is to improve the lives of women and children in remote areas connected to us through surfing. 

Started by a group of concerned surfers in 2000 who were struck by the needless suffering and preventable death in the Mentawai Islands, SurfAid works hand-in-hand with the communities of Indonesia, Solomon Islands and Baja Sur, Mexico to bring about sustainable health change while respecting the unique culture and customs of these islands communities.

Started in 2011 at iconic Manly Beach, SurfAid Cups are now a global event. Held annually they include Bondi, Manly and URBNSURF in Australia, and Santa Cruz, Malibu, San Diego and Surf Ranch in the USA.
