ASB MAGAZINE: Burton Snowboards and Thredbo Resort Store is now officially open for business.With what was hailed as the best opening day conditions in 19 years – friends, family, staff and team riders from the Burton and Thredbo snowboarding communities gathered on Saturday evening to celebrate the opening of the doors to the Burton Thredbo Partnership Store.
The store cements a long time resort partnership between Burton and Thredbo and joins the network of Burton stores in locations such as Los Angeles, Innsbruck, Niseko and Queenstown. As one of Australia’s most visited and premium winter destinations, Thredbo’s Alpine Village serves as the perfect location to showcase the world’s premier snowboard brand.
The first of its kind in Australia, TheBurton Store Thredbo is a new retail space opened in conjunction with long-time resort partner Thredbo. The store features Burton’s world-renowned offerings of snowboards, boots, bindings, outerwear and winter accessories across the men’s, women’s and youth range.
The store’s design draws inspiration from two locations bound by a common love for the mountains. The space combines elements from Burton’s heritage in Burlington, Vermont, with Thredbo’s breathtaking natural beauty and rich history, offering a unique retail experience.
