ASB MAGAZINE: By The Sea, is a collaborative digital editorial between SurfVisuals and Gage Roads Brewing Co. This idea behind the campaign is to identify interesting and intriguing creatives of all disciplines in local coastal communities across Australia.  The first stop on our tour is the Surf Coast of Victoria. SurfVisuals (SV) have brought together an eclectic group of individuals, including, Linley Hurrell, Marcus Hyett, Isabelle Cook, Michael van der Klooster, Dane Fisher, and Josh Morrice. Each of these individuals are current locals to the Surf coast and have all had their lives positively influenced by living “By The Sea”.

Throughout the length of the campaign – which will be run purely as an online editorial – SV will dive deep into how the coastal life has brought out the best in each of these individuals. Through storytelling and interview based articles, SV will be able to showcase these individuals to the wider SurfVisuals, and Surf Coast of Victoria community.

To celebrate the By The Sea series with Gage Roads Brewing Co, SurfVisuals will be holding a party at Last One Inn (Anglesea), on 25th of January from 3pm to 9pm. The event will be a community gathering, enjoying a small catalogue of beers, including the Single Fin Summer Ale by Gage Roads, and epic cocktails, and burgers from Last One Inn. Over the course of the day, the infamous “disco deck” at Last One Inn will be unveiled and everyone is invited to bring their dancing shoes. Tickets are $10 and all beers will be priced at $5 per can with some special deals announced on the day too.
