RVCA – (Women’s) Account Manager

Job description

In this newly created role you will deliver sustainable revenue growth by developing customer strategies for the RVCA brand in the NSW territory. You will manage key customer relations and distribution planning in line with the consumer channel segmentation plan. You’ll also be the key account manager for the Womens product range. This is a great position for an experienced Account Manager or Sales Manager looking to get unique exposure to a global business and develop your career in an innovative brand with considerable growth potential!

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

Working closely with the Brand Manager, you will play a key role in the market growth of the RVCA brand. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining the region distribution base to ensure product is represented appropriately across NSW
  • Managing key customer relations for the RVCA Womens distribution in line with the RVCA consumer channel segmentation plan
  • Growing existing account revenue through maintaining strong business relationships with top regional customers, ensuring maximum face time & high levels of instore service
  • Involvement in negotiating and developing key account plans to maximise sales and distribution potential
  • Providing feedback and input to the Product Development team to assist in understanding the needs of the key account base when designing lines
  • Implementing distribution plans and opportunities for new categories

 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Extensive experience in a similar Account Manager or Sales Manager role
  • An intimate knowledge of the retail landscape, preferably in the youth and surf/lifestyle segment
  • Demonstrated experience in managing key regional accounts
  • Significant knowledge and experience of systems and procedures relating to sales planning and reporting, merchandise planning and category management
  • Strong understanding of financial and margin principles
  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills to deal effectively with a broad range of internal key parties and customers
