ASB MAGAZINE: Melbourne based URBNSURF this week announced it will be reopening to the public albeit with restricted access from Friday, June 19th. The restrictions are to comply with the Victorian Government’s current guidelines for sport and recreation and have forced temporary changes to URBNSURF’s business operations. In more good news from the Australia’s first wave park, Rip Curl have been announced as the major surf brand and official wetsuit partner.
Rip Curl wetsuits and accessories will be available for hire at URBNSURF’s Surf Rental and for sale at their retail shop, Lagoon Supply Co along with a range of other Rip Curl goods including boardshorts and Rip Curl 2 GPS surf watches that are used to track surf performances in the wave pool.
Earlier this year, members of Rip Curls team tore up the lagoon, including World Champion Tyler Wright, Xavier Huxtable, Louie Hynd, Molly Picklum, Ellie Harrison and Quincy Symonds.
