Rip Curl, the Ultimate Surfing Company, is on The Search for an experienced professional to manage our Men’s product division. Based at our global head office in Torquay and reporting directly to the Group GM of Product, the key responsibility of this position is to manage the end-to-end lifecycle for our Men’s product category.
This is a key position within the business, heading up one of our major product divisions, and therefore we’re searching for a senior manager with a proven track record in successful product management within the surf, sports or fashion industry. Excellent business management acumen, analytical ability and the knowledge and experience to make important commercial decisions are key requirements of this management role.
You will be an expert in range planning and development and will have a detailed understanding and passion for the Men’s apparel market. Your team will include men’s design, product development and purchasing, and you will work closely with the sales and marketing divisions to oversee execution and exposure of the men’s product group to achieve ultimate results.
Excellent people management and communication skills and advanced computer skills, particularly excel, are required. A degree in business or marketing will be highly regarded.
