ASB MAGAZINE: Inspired from a high school nickname for Founder and CEO Jason Daniel, LSKD (Loose Kid) is an Australian-owned and operated lifestyle brand formed in 2007. LSKD is sold in City Beach, The Iconic and independent surf and lifestyle stores throughout Australia. In January, LSKD partnered with Google’s drone delivery service Wing to deliver LSKD goods to residents in Logan, QLD. This week, the company announced it would be closing its wholesale business and instead focus on its B2C business as well as its expansion into the Northern Hemisphere.

“We strongly value the community we’ve created and love nothing more than giving back to those who have supported our journey so far,” said CEO Jason Daniel.

“When I started this business over 13 years ago I could never have predicted the twists and turns my team would take on the way to making our brand a success.  Everyone here at LSKD has been working tirelessly and in just a few months our direction as a brand has been altered forever,”

“I have made the decision to close our wholesale business for the foreseeable future effective 30th of June. The sole focus for my team and I moving forward is to control our brand image as well as build the LSKD community both nationally and internationally,” said CEO Jason Daniel.

“With our recent expansion into the northern hemisphere and because of the challenge in the last few months facing many industries including, retail LSKD has not gone ahead with our summer 20 stock order,” continued Daniel.

Daniel said he will be forever grateful for their retail partners that have helped distribute and refine their products to the high quality garments that are produced today.

“On behalf of the team at LSKD thanks again for your support, we will be watching closely as your journey continues.”  said Jason Daniel-  Founder, CEO.
