ASB MAGAZINE: Indosole the recycled tyre footwear company founded in Bali but with roots in Australia will open a Pop- Up Garage this Sunday at 1/93 Centennial Circuit Byron Bay industrial Estate (under the Wild Things Gallery) from 330 pm (after SurfClub) and with limited free drinks.

IndoSole is B-Corporation Certified, one of over 1,000 companies using business as a force for good. The idea of turning tyres into soles came from the Indonesian people and it caught the attention of Kyle Parsons, Indosole founder and CEO. Over the years IndoSole has continually developed their tyre sole footwear to ensure that it is fashionable and comfortable, and the brand is on a quest to save 1 million tyres from negatively impacting the environment

Indosole Australia is headed by Nick Riley and Marcie O’Neill. Former pro-surfer Nick Riley has always had an affinity with the ocean and has seen first-hand the devastating effect of pollution and waste on the environment, particularly in the third world. After working with Indosole in Bali, Nick bought the brand to Australia. With over 20 years in the surf and fashion industry, Marcie has worked as a creative director, airbrush artist and surfboard designer, shaper, copywriter, fine artist and poet.

Indosole is a simple idea that translates seamlessly to product design. There is an elegant simplicity and integrity that give the Indosole brand its unique quality and feel.
