Mild-mannered Quiksilver shaper Christiaan Bradley makes sleds for Leo Fiorivanti, Jesse Mendes and France’s hot crop of future stars.  Originally from Tasmania, Christiaan cut his teeth in the shaping bays of the Gold Coast before bouncing around the globe eventually meeting Euroglass founder Stephen Bell and landing the prime position of  becoming the Channel Islands ghost shaper for Europe and shaping boards for the CI team including (then) team rider  Kelly Slater. The experience propelled him into another stratosphere and eventually the Bradley Label was born. Christiaan Bradley has in the last decade turned himself into one the finest performance surfboard shapers in the world.

In this first instalment  by our friends at WavePoolMag’s original series “Wave Pool Board Theory” we explore Christiaan’s shaping history and get his take on wave pool surfboard designs.
