ASB MAGAZINE: BFGoodrich and Surfing Australia will roll into a new partnership becoming a supporting rights partner of the nudie Australian Boardriders Battle which will include the epic BFGoodrich Gripping Moments content activation on the live broadcast during the National Final on February 15th and 16th, 2020.

Our ‘Escape with Us’ campaign is aimed at finding freedom, and whether that’s on the open road or down a secluded beach track; you can rely on BFGoodrich,” said Michelin Marketing Manager, Swaroop Tulsidas.

“We are excited to be showcasing the highlights of the competition through the BFGoodrich ‘Gripping Moments’; as there is no doubt the worlds’ best will be providing plenty of them.”

Showcasing the biggest and best moments across two days of world-class surfing at Newcastle Main Beach, the ‘Gripping Moments’ culminates in the BFGoodrich Gripping Moments Award and $1,000 prize money for the winner.

Surfing Australia’s CEO Chris Mater said “Surfing Australia is excited to be able to partner up with BFGoodrich and produce content that aligns with both parties’ values and traditions. Surfers have been at the forefront of coastal exploration in Australia and BFGoodrich has played, and always will play, a huge part in that adventure.”

The partnership will also feature on’s digital platform, Surfing Australia’s social media channels and in the ‘The Hold Down’ TV show series that airs on Channel 9 nationally over Summer.
