Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

The promotion commences on 04/02/19 at 00:00 AEDT and entries close on 11/03/19 at 11.59pm AEDT (the ‘promotion period’).
Entry
Entry is open to people aged 18 years and over. Employees and their immediate family members are ineligible to enter. To enter, participants must visit www.waveoftheday.com.au/win during the promotion period and follow the prompts.
By entry into this competition, entrants consent to the storage of their personal information on the databases of the Promoter and their partners who are providing the prizes under a commercial arrangement with the Promoter and that they may use this information for future promotional and marketing purposes regarding their products and services including contacting entrants via electronic messaging. The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information partners to assist in conducting this competition or communicating with entrants. By entering into these terms and conditions the participant automatically agrees to be subscribed to receive communications from Wave of the Day and its associated partners. Entrant can opt out of these communications via the unsubscribe link provided at the bottom of these newsletters. Prize
The prize (‘The trip’) is a 12 Night charter on board the Navistar. The trip departs from Padang, Indonesia (PDG). The trip includes return transfers from Padang (hotel or airport), 12 nights shared accommodation on the Navistar, 3 meals a day plus snacks, use of all gear on board the boat, and ongoing support from Wave of the Day customer service. The prize may not be transferred or substituted.
The trip does not include flights, travel Insurance, Mentawai Surfer Tax (1 million Indonesian Rupiah), any other local government taxes or fees, any additional food or drink, gratuities, personal expenses, or anything beyond the inclusions listed above.
The trip is available for travel dates before March 31st 2020, subject to availability. The trip will be either an addition to an already guaranteed sailing charter subject to availability OR the winner can claim his free charter for an unbooked date of their choice (subject to minimum sailing numbers being met prior to trip date, e.g. the trip winner has an additional 5 friends also book the same trip, making a total of 6 people which would guarantee departure). Should minimum numbers not be met, an alternative date can be arranged.
Total promotion prize package is valued at $3150 AUD (This is correct at time of commencement of competition and is subject to change).
Draw
The prize draw will take place at 13:00 on 12/03/19 at 13:00 at the office of the promoter; Unit 7, 19-21 Centennial Cct, Byron Bay NSW 2481.
The winning participant (“winner”) will be chosen at random by competition software provided by Gleam. The winner will be notified by email within 2 business days of the draw and will have their details (particulars excluded) published on http://www.waveoftheday.com/travel-stories on 12/03/19.
Warranties
The promoter does not hold any liability in the event a supplier / provider of prize included in the giveaway is unable to provide prize due to any event outside the promoters control. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its related bodies corporate and each of their officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference; any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoters) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoters, any variation in prize value to that stated in these Conditions of Entry, any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant and/or redemption of the prize.
