ONBOARD INDUSTRIES TAKES ON  STICKY BUMPS DISTRIBUTION

ASB MAGAZINE: Onboard Industries (AUS) and Wax Research (USA), manufacturers of the Sticky Bumps wax formulae have joined forces to distribute Sticky Bumps wax and accessories throughout Australia. In announcing the new distribution agreement Onboard Industries hosted their annual sales meeting at their Byron  Bay store last week with 20 key retailers enjoying the opportunity to test the Sticky Bumps formulae to a selection of the finest  surfboards including Channel Islands, Simon Anderson, Christenson, Hayden Lewis and Insight surfboards.

Established in 1986, Onboard Industries operates from its headquarters in Mona Vale, NSW.  Born from the grass roots up, their journey has been dedicated to cutting edge designs, performance and quality to cater to needs of some of the world’s best surfers.  They believe in authenticity, innovation, craftsmanship, exceptional service and limitless possibilities, which have been the foundation to creating one of Australia and Asia Pacific’s largest surfboard distribution companies.

As a leader in the global wax market, Wax Research, the makers of Sticky Bumps surf wax, unwinds traditional logic as witnessed in the performance of their trailblazing formulas.  Founded in Encinitas in 1971, Wax Research is recognized by the international sport community as one of the original endemic surf accessory companies.  This family of like-minded people is dedicated to that vital spark of individualism and adventure.  A grassroots manufacture, every handcrafted bar of high quality surf and ski wax is poured in their California factory.

The two companies join forces to distribute Sticky Bumps wax and accessories throughout Australia and grow the brand to be a solid presence in that market.
